Hi all!
I%26#39;m trying to plan a trip with my 72 year old Grandmother (we are from Oregon) and so far, part of it will be arriving (by car) from Mobile into NO on Saturday afternoon over Memorial Day weekend. We will be driving from there to Memphis on Monday early afternoon to try to beat most traffic.
What will traffic be like coming in and out of NO during that holiday?
Do you think the city will be really busy that weekend? I don%26#39;t find any big festivals or events going on that weekend which is good.

It won%26#39;t be bad at all..by that time the new I-10 West Welcome center should be open as you enter Louisiana where you can pick up brochures and get any information as you head into New Orleans.
