We are going down there that weekend as well. From what I have researched, there are 4 Easter parades that day.

One on St. Charles Avenue.

The Historic French Quarter Easter Parade - I was told (on the phone by someone in a restaurant in the FQ) that it starts around 9:45 am and then ends in Jackson Square in time for 11:00 am mass at St. Louis Cathedral.

Chris Owens Easter Parade - starts at 1:00 pm.

The Gay Easter Parade - starts at 4:30 pm.

You can google the last two to find out more info, but I%26#39;ve been having a hard time nailing down specifics about the Historic FQ one. But all three are in the French Quarter.

Cool... Thanks! I think we will be able to catch a little bit of the early historic parade before we jump on our plane at 3. It might be a little hectic getting back to the airport though.

I just saw on Saturday there is the Crescent City Festival and Race. Is that worth going to? I saw there were a few bands, and it was $5 to enter the festival afterwards...
