im considering booking this hotel and was wondering is it a nice hotel
hotel monteleone.
Grand hotel.
hotel monteleone.
i heard the rooms are kind of small. are they really that bad
I%26#39;ve stayed there and like it very much. It%26#39;s a traditional old building and if you want the feeling of NO I would stay there. Rooms aren%26#39;t modern, but clean and have charm. Yes, they are not large. Many do not have a view. What the pluses are is location, carousel bar, lobby, roof top pool with bar. I would recommend it. If you want modern and large then stay at a chain or Harrah%26#39;s.
Generally, hotel rooms in the French Quarter are smaller-than-average. The newer hotels downtown may have larger rooms.
The Monteleone is one of my preferred hotels although I personally like some others more but a big plus is how close Mr. B%26#39;s is.
I love the Monteleone, especially it%26#39;s fabulous Carousel Bar (it actually revolves as you sit!) It%26#39;s the quintessential, old world New Orleans hotel.
If you%26#39;re into contemporary, modern/sleek hotels, then look elsewhere. But, if you like famous, fancy hotels, then go for the Monteleone!
We loved the Monteleone 2 yrs ago, like one said above, a grand Hotel. Great heated rooftop pool.
thanks for the advice. i booked it yesterday
