My husband and I are planning on going to the Barksdale Airshow on May 9th. We are not from this area and would like to find a reasonably priced hotel that is CLEAN and in a safe area. We are not looking for anything fancy because all we will be doing is sleeping there. If anyone has any suggestions on a hotel it would be greatly appreciated.

When you say ';reasonably priced';, what price range are you shooting for? I can recommend this hotel, Microtel Inn %26amp; Suites Bossier City based on the reviews and price range that you are seeking. The prices of the hotels/motels tend to shoot up on the weekend due to the casino crowd and of course the Air show for the weekend you will be in town. It is in a pretty safe area and not far from the base.
