Ever print Mapquest directions, hand it to cab driver????

Do you think a cabbie would be insulted if you have a preferred route, printed off mapquest, and gave them the directions you chose??? Never tried, it, don%26#39;t know if that would be cool or not!

Most cabs these days have a gps system, even some of the old ';clunkers'; in New Orleans.

I would think it%26#39;s really unnecessary, unless I%26#39;m going to somewhere really obscure, outside of city limits or something like that. I%26#39;ve never had this problem before though, and all the cabs I%26#39;ve used recently do indeed have GPS...

I%26#39;ve tried that and they always want to go their own way or use GPS like the OP said.

Just don%26#39;t EVER attempt it in NYC.... ;D

Just wondered if cabbies ever give you the run around, try to rack up fees.

Probably won%26#39;t try it, but I usually print %26#39;em out to have on hand, to see how far away things are.
