Has anyone stayed here? It looks so historic and beautiful =o)
The Lamothe HouseDid you check out the reviews yet? If not, you should. They are generally good.
The Lamothe HouseWell, I shouldn%26#39;t speak so fast. Just reviewed the recent reviews and they aren%26#39;t good at all. It%26#39;s in a great location and looks nice from the outside but guests seem to be pretty divided about it once they get inside the building!
We haven%26#39;t stayed there but have heard nothing good in the last year at least.
Yes, I%26#39;ve also heard lots of mixed to bad reviews about Lamothe House recently!
Nothing recent to report, but I stayed there in 2003 and loved it. As far as location goes (and that can%26#39;t have changed much) it can%26#39;t be beat. Also, they have onsite, off street parking that was either very cheap or free. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but it%26#39;s New Orleans, right? Go out for breakfast! I loved the older rooms with antiques and character, so this place worked for me. I tried to stay there 10-2008 but they were booked for a wedding.
I stayed there several years ago and it was my least favorite place of all of the places I have stayed in New Orleans. The hotel itself was charming, quaint..but I felt that the staff was not up to par.
