My boyfriend and I are coming to New Orleans for vacation between May 7-11th. We would like to do a swamp tour and possibly an overall tour of New Orleans. I saw that Cajun Encounters - Honey Island Swamp Tours was recommended on this forum earlier, would this be the best? I also understand that they provide transportation from your hotel, where as others do not. We are flying in and will not have a car. Are there any other tours that would be great to check out? Neither of us are really crazy about city-bus tours, but he has never been to New Orleans and I would like for him to see a lot of the city (cemetaries / Garden District / Katrina devastation, etc.)
Also, my boyfriend likes to fish and I wanted to see if there were any good charter fishing boats in New Orleans, or just somewhere close to rent fishing poles and fish?

Recommended Tours %26amp; Charter Fishing?I%26#39;d definitely recommend the Honey Island Swamp tours - either Cajun Encounters or Dr. Wagner%26#39;s Honey Island Swamp tours. I%26#39;ve taken plenty and these are my favorite!
For city/Katrina tour, I would go with Tours by Isabelle or one of the other smaller van tours like Celebration Tours.
