We have a group of 10 coming to Breaux Bridge for the Crawfish Festival and would like to take a swamp tour on Friday. We will be coming Thursday afternoon so we could drive a little way to get to a good one. I checked with Alligator Bayou in Baton Rouge but he does not do tours during the week.

We%26#39;ve used Angelle%26#39;s Atchafalaya Basin Swamp Tours. It%26#39;s in Henderson, which is very close to Breaux Bridge. I couldn%26#39;t find a website for them, but I found a phone number in a tour directory:

This is a great time to go on a tour in the Atchafalaya Basin. The water is high and clear (for Louisiana).

We took Butch%26#39;s tour last year when we went %26amp; it was fantastic. Very entertaining as well as educational. We have sent several family members there since. Even a few who lived near by and had never been on a tour. Just goes to show you, you can vacation in your ';backyard';
