We%26#39;re coming to NO tomorrow (April 9-13) and want to do either a swamp tour (maybe Honey Island) or go to Barataria Preserve. We won%26#39;t have a car. I see the Preserve has guided walking and canoe tours, which sound great, but I assume the only way to get there is via taxi. True? Any recommendations on which is more worth the time investment?

Barataria Preserve or swamp tour?
late response but you probably found out already you would need a car or taxi for the Barataria Preserve and I%26#39;d say..do the Honey Island. Check out the LA. tourist information office at Jackson Square near the 1850 House for good information. I hope you have your laptop with you to keep up with trip advisor.
