Bachelor Party on Bourbon

Any suggestions for Bachelor Party on Bourbon?

I%26#39;ve been to New Orleans a few times and have partied on Bourbon quite a bit but I%26#39;m not sure what the best way to celebrate with a crew of 10-15 guys would be?

Any idea%26#39;s?

If we want a private room on Saturday night where should we go and/or what balcony should we get?

Also for entertainment (I.E. Strippers) Any idea%26#39;s?

My advice is to go to Vegas or at least not in the week when I%26#39;ll be in NOLA. =)

New Orleans is already booked...and not entirely sure what that means...thanks though.

I%26#39;ve been on 4-5 BP%26#39;s down there, with the same # of guys. Whatever you do, don%26#39;t spill beer on a NOPD%26#39;s hat. I did and spent the next hour hiding out in another room. We%26#39;d gotten a balcony room at the Royal Sonesta for the bachelor and best man, and of course all of us hung-out up there if we weren%26#39;t bar-hopping. A buddy pointed at something, hit my hand on accident, and spilled about 2-3oz of beer straight down on a flat-brim hat. I backed up after seeing him start looking up, and told everyone that we%26#39;re prob all going to jail, and that we%26#39;d better head out because he%26#39;s coming up. No one believed me except an attoney buddy, who promptly whisked a few of us off to his room in another part of the hotel. Sure enough, PD came in about 10 min. later, and said even though he couldn%26#39;t prove who did it, he could kill the party if they didn%26#39;t removed the glass containers asap (which they shouldn%26#39;t have had anyway, and only had a couple empties) and listen to every word he said. They did and he left, but only after scaring the be-jezzus out of everyone there, including 2 couples/innocent bystanders who just happended to be sharing the same balcony as this room, around the corner. They had a bottle of wine with them and 4 glasses, so they got the brunt of it.

Rick%26#39;s across from the Sonesta about the best bet for %26#39;entertainment%26#39;, but we had more fun on the street. Met in courtyard of Pat O%26#39;s every night to kick-off the evening with hurricanes. Swap cell #%26#39;s for all because you will get separated, and you might even print some small French Quarter maps with the hotel and meeting places highlighted, for those who%26#39;ve never been. Just a suggestion.

Barely Legal is the best strip club on Bourbon. Try there. As for a hotel, the Inn on Bourbon is good. As for entertainment you can try looking on craigslist.

agreed about the sonesta...just put everything in plastic keg cups and resist the urge to dump your beer on a policeman ;o)

the Inn is a little less classy, so maybe a bit cheaper?

also, Rick%26#39;s is the best gentlemans club in New Orleans (according to my friend who has worked there in the past) she said they had very strict guidelines on hair, makeup, tattoos, etc.

there%26#39;s also some pretty great burlesque shows in NoLA. i know one eyedjacks has one. there you and your group might be able to talk to girls without having to pay them first ;o)

have a blast...and definitely heed the advice of a PP. bring cell phones. YOU WILL GET SEPARATED.
