Bourgoyne Guest House??

I was wondering if some one could shed some light on this place? Me and my husband have stayed at the Bon Maison Guest House wich is right next door to their.Has any one stayed at both and can compaire the two?Or is this hotel{Bourgoyne} ok?I dont look for much except it being clean and having the basics.If any one can tell me about the place it would help seeing that the Bon Maison does not like us because we are straight and wont rent us a room again. Thanks

Bon Maison won%26#39;t rent a room to you because you%26#39;re straight?!? Really!!?! I%26#39;d report that on tripadvisor%26#39;s review board AND notify the City of New Orleans because it%26#39;s probably illegal. It%26#39;s certainly unethical.

Sorry I can%26#39;t help you with Bourgoyne. Why not try Lafitte Guest House one block down?

That hotel was booked.Butch the gentlemen who owns the other guest house sayed we were ';ICK';and was not all that helpful with anything.He just stayed in his room.Im thinking their isn%26#39;t a place to stay ? Oh well thanks though

I have stayed at the Bourgoyne gues house. I Enjoyed my stay their very much. The place is simply beautiful. You can sit in the court yard and it%26#39;s like traveling back in time just looking at the place. I would definitely recommend this guest house.

Yeah, Cajunwave, I would question all of these posts except yours. Notice the first time posts, as well as the OP%26#39;s 4. Hard to believe in such a claim, anyway.

Have stayed at the Bon Maison twice for a total of 9 nights. Once with my wife and daughter, other with my wife and son. No issues with being straight. Chuck does have a witty sense of humor so some comments may have been misconstrued, but never any issue with us being straight. Chuck pretty much leaves you alone unless you want to engage in conversation. Will even have you up for a drink. Just don%26#39;t mess with American Idol night. Would recommend to anyone wanting a decent location, decent rate and some space if you need two bedrooms especially. Have checked out Bourgoyne House, looks inviting, but never stayed there. Might also check out Ursuline Guest House, 708 Ursulines, they throw in breakfast and wine and cheese at 6 PM.
