Then, definitely stay in the French Quarter! The Place d%26#39;Armes, Hotel Provincial, Prince Conti and Bourbon Orleans are all reasonably priced hotels with good location. Try Bookit.com for good deals to New Orleans.

So what is your price range for a hotel, per night?

How many nights stay and where are you flying from for your $350 total?

I assume you mean $350 per person? And judging from your screen name, you%26#39;re from Connecticut?

It%26#39;s a very tight budget. I%26#39;d probably try the vacation packages on the Expedia or Priceline sites and see what kind of pricing you can get. They will also let you choose your hotel.

3 nights!

My husband and I just booked a trip on Orbitz for 350.00 a person for hotel and flight, flying from Buffalo, NY. It can be done! We are staing at the Chateau Bourbon for 5 nights.

I googled a promo code for Orbitz and got an additional 75. dollars off of the already cheap price. There were cheaper hotels too. We booked a month and a half in advance but the price went up to 950 a person only three weeks later.

Good luck!

kellyconn,

I%26#39;m from CT too, and I travel to New Orleans every three months or so (it%26#39;s my second home). I generally stay at the Renaissance Arts on Tchoupitoulas, which is in the Warehouse district (which has some phenomenal bars and restaurants in and of itself), but only a short walk across canal into the FQ. Renaissance is also offering a fourth night free, which is what I%26#39;ve booked for my return trip in June. Why stay three when you can get a free fourth?! check out reviews, it%26#39;s a chain, but has a lovely boutique vibe.
