louisiana bistro, location,booking and dress!!

hi,just been reading the great reviews for this bistro,i would like to know where it is located [we are staying at the banana courtyard during jazzfest]and if it is within walking distance from here,also hoping the dress code is not too high brow, and lastly would we need to book now or could we book when we arrive,that way wouldnt be tied down to time too much,thanks lorr. ps anyone any comments on this bistro, like the idea of the feed me menu [has anyone tried it]as new comers to no i thought it would be a good sampler of the tastes of no

Louisiana Bistro is one of those ';off the beaten path'; restaurants in the French Quarter. It%26#39;s not terribly popular, but I%26#39;m glad they are getting some good reviews.

I highly doubt you would need to make reservations way in advance. It%26#39;s about 13 blocks from the Banana Courtyard, and the dress code is not dressy casual.

louisianabistro.net They don%26#39;t advertise in papers or magazines. Chef Mars does a great job. 337 Dauphine St in the French Quarter.

I went to their website and it states that there are only 11 tables. I sent an email to the restaurant to make a reservation and it was confirmed by the Chef himself. We looking forward to trying the ';Feed Me'; option next weekend.
