Anyone know if Tipatina%26#39;s lives up to the hype? Also, more specifically, if Sunday%26#39;s Cajun dance night is worth while.

To me, like any live music venue, it really depends on who is playing that night, and I%26#39;ve heard some FANTASTIC performances! I haven%26#39;t been to the Sunday night Cajun dance, but I%26#39;ve had friends go, who had a good time!

What hype? What are you expecting?

If you are expecting good, loud music and a lively crowd; then, yes. I%26#39;ve been going since the 80s and have never been to a bad show. We always have a good time. Music sounds great in that box.

If you are expecting to sit, you%26#39;ll be disappointed. If you are expecting to have personal space, you may not love it. If you hope to talk to friends while the band is playing, no chance.

I can%26#39;t comment on the Sunday Fais Do Do, because I have not been to one. Do you want to learn to cajun dance?
