holy week in NO

Planning to go to NO during holy week. Any suggestions on where to stay. The crown astor was recommended. How about easter sunday brunch-any recommendations?

Try to get a hotel within the French Quarter - there are lots of options based on varying price ranges.

For Easter brunch, nobody beats Commander%26#39;s Palace in the Garden District!

We love Bourbon Orleans. Its right in the heart of FQ, but not in the seedy side, with a pool and very comfortable large rooms, some with balconies.

Brooklyn: The French Quarter has two Easter Buffets offering a good selection. Those are Brennans and Arnauds Restaurant.

Outside of the FQ, you will take a taxi to either Emerils on Tchoupitoulas (800 block), or Commanders Palace, which is a further taxi ride.

All of these are reputable establishments, and all have similar ratings for Easter Brunch.

As far as a place to stay, I would recommend the Omni Royal Orleans, as it is in the center of the French Quarter and the rates are reasonable. Additionally two of the recommended restaurants are located in the FQ and in easy walking distance from the hotel.

Good luck on your choice for Holy Week, and hope your visit is pleasant and the weather cooperative.

Thanks all for the info. I will be staying at the astor crowne. I will be making reservations for Easter brunch ate Commanders!

The Astor Crowne Plaza has a nice location on Canal St and Bourbon St, and is a solid 3-star property!

You%26#39;ll definitely enjoy Commander%26#39;s!
