Looking forward to our trip to Shreveport in mid April. Does anybody have any current trip reports on the El Dorado?

We were just at the Eldorado during Spring Break. It was very crowded then due to a motorcycle rally being held. We did stay at the hotel also and as usual they were very friendly and great service. I have read some reports with people having problems there but we have always been treated very well. Have you been before?

Gambling was not bad, didn%26#39;t win any big money, but didn%26#39;t spend any either. We also went to Diamond Jacks and played for awhile. Held our own there also. Not sure what you like to play. I could give you some locations of machines that seem to pay well if you are a slot player.

Let me know if you want any more info.

Have a great time, wish I were going back, but we are from Central Texas and it is a long drive for just a weekend. Maybe our state law makers will finally allow casinos in Texas and we won%26#39;t have to drive so far. LOL

Thank you for the update! Have been to Shreveport about 5 times but always stayed at the Horseshoe. Decided we are done with the Harrah%26#39;s Prime Rewards Club so booked at the El Dorado. Have always enjoyed playing at the El Dorado so I am excited to be staying there this trip around.

I AM a slot player and would love the inside scoop on machines that pay out well ! We visit all the casino%26#39;s in Shreveport(NO MORE HARRAH%26#39;S)so any information on good slots would be appreciated.

As a home owner on Galveston Island, we too are anxious for the Texas Legislature to approve gambling. The Island could used the revenue!

I heard that your area would be one of the places a casino would be built. How exciting. I do hope our lawmakers will bury their personal feelings and do something good for the state. We are losing so much revenue to the surrounding states. When we go to Shreveport 90% of the cars in the parking garage have Texas license plates.

What type of slots do you play, video, reels etc? I play pennies, quarters etc.

We have been doing really well on the first floor machines. The Wizard of Oz has been very generous to us. Last time we were there my husband (playing only 30 cents) cashed out $400.00 after playing for 3 hrs. I love this machine. I also do very well on the Wolf Run machines on the second floor. Let me know what denomination you play and I will try and steer you to the machines I saw hitting or not hitting.
