What will the crowds be like in the restaurants during the festival? I realize that there are a lot of kiosks/booths set up, but if I can convince hubby to come, Friday is our anniversary, so we might want to sit down and eat. We will be there Thurs. night too- Rock N%26#39; Bowl for Zydeco recommended? Are the clubs on Frenchman still operating as usual in the evenings?
FQF and restaurants/clubs
It depends on the time on day you go. For dinner, it%26#39;ll be packed since the events will be wrapping up/only a few going on in the evenings. You%26#39;ll have an easier time with lunch. Also, Rock N Bowl is a lot of fun, so I%26#39;d go for it.
FQF and restaurants/clubs
You might consider one of the Uptown/Riverbend restaurants. They may also be crowded, but probably less so than places in the French Quarter and the Marigny.
The balcony tables at Feelings Cafe are very romantic and the restaurant is peaceful. The food isn%26#39;t great, but it%26#39;s pretty good. ';Pretty good'; in New Orleans is the equivalent of ';outstanding'; in many other cities.
