which hotel for summer stay?

well, I%26#39;m planning my next trip to New Orleans for early July....uuughhh, I know, the heat and humidity :( but, we%26#39;re still looking forward to a great trip :) I%26#39;ve narrowed down our options to either the Place D%26#39;Armes, Hotel St Marie and Inn on Bourbon..I have stayed at the Inn on Bourbon, but never during the summer months. I love all these locations and have visited the other two hotels. What I%26#39;m concerned with is I want a hotel stay where I am guaranteed great air conditioning. We chose these hotels for their location and their pools, but I was hoping you guys could give me some insight as to which hotel would be best to stay at during the hot/humid summer. Thanks!!!

I%26#39;d go with the Place d%26#39;Armes. I really can%26#39;t imagine the air-conditioning is significantly better in one place than the other.

WT, I%26#39;ll have to tell you about my hotel stay from he11 and another bad stay in N O both because of bad A/C%26#39;s. All 3 mentioned have good reps for stays.

Never a problem at Place or St. Marie for our multiple stays-never been at the Inn on Bourbon.

you%26#39;ve made me curious terry, what happened to you and what hotels were they at...I will def steer clear of them..LOL..AC is VERY important to me for a July stay!!

Yeah, what hotel was it?! My car%26#39;s A/C always chooses to break down during the summer, and it%26#39;s absolutely horrible, but unless there%26#39;s a power loss, no excuse for hotels!

eager to hear which hotels don%26#39;t have reliable a/c.coming in aug. (yikes!). probably staying at the omni. would imagine for the price its going to be ok.
