Does anyone know what the current bookit.com 3* mystery hotel is? The most current forum is from %26#39;08. It says 1 block to Bourbon and 1 block to French quarter, but doesn%26#39;t have much more info. Please help! Thanks
Bookit 3* downtown mystery May 2009
From the description, it could be the Hampton Inn in the CBD, not completely sure though.
Bookit 3* downtown mystery May 2009
Thanks, I%26#39;ll check it out. In the 08 forums it says it could be the Holdiay Inn Express Downtown, does this sound like it could be another option?

The 4* fq hotel as of last wk is the Astor Crowne Plaza. the downtown mystery probably the holiday inn express. The $55 FQ is probably the St Louis Hotel one blk fr Bourbon
Thanks for the help. I%26#39;ll post the results if I go with one of these.
I just used bookit.com for the first time. Got the Astor as the mystery hotel for the first week of Jazz Fest. Little apprehensive as I know very little about Book It or the Astor. I was able to confirm thru Astor that my room is booked. So far so good.
Was this for the 4* downtown mystery at $79? I%26#39;ve read some good reviews about the Astor.
Does anyone know if bookit keeps the same deals or puts the same ones back up once they expire? I am looking at one that expires March 31st, but I don%26#39;t know if I%26#39;ll make my decision by then. Will it go back up in April?
smac67,
We always stay at the Astor. I think you will be happy.
We used bookit last year and it was the Astor Crowne - we had no problems with the reservations and the room was great.
We did the same thing this year for first week of the Jazzfest.
Same here Cate. First week of Jazz Fest is getting closer. Cant wait! Astor looks like a great location for getting on the Street Car and for stumbling back from the FQ. :)
