Is Jacque-Imo%26#39;s still worth going to? We went two years ago and enjoyed the food, but not the wait. We only have two dinners, so don%26#39;t want to waste one.
Jacque-Imo's?
We love Jacque-Imo%26#39;s but if you%26#39;ve been and only have two dinners, I would recommend trying other restaurants. There are so many wonderful choices. If you need help, let us know what type you%26#39;re looking for. We love Dick and Jenny%26#39;s on Tchoupitoulas near Napoleon Avenue.
Jacque-Imo's?
The food is still pretty good at Jacques-Imo%26#39;s, as is the ambience, but expect a wait (even on a Monday!), unless you arrive around 6pm for an early dinner. The weekend is even worse!
But, I agree that there are so many great restaurants in New Orleans, why not branch out and explore some more? I also like Brigtsen%26#39;s, which is in the same area as Jacques-Imo%26#39;s.
North Carolina: If you are staying in the French Quarter, there are more good restaurants there, that are much better than the one mentioned, and the wait is not a factor.
One of my favorites, and there are a lot of these here, is Muriels, on the Square. There is a great menue, the ambiance is good, the waitstaff is friendly and you will simply enjoy it all, without having to travel to the Carrollton area to visit a long line.
Good luck on your choice.
I love Jacques-Imos too, but I agree, better choices in the FQ for sure, not worth going out of your way. Emeril%26#39;s NOLA is great, Bayona too, and Herbsaint (in the CBD, just outside the FQ) is my fave!
