Is it possible to find live acts during the day or early evening on Fri/Sat?

From one Parrothead to another-';Fins Up';- there is live music everywhere in NOLA and not just on Fri. Sat.- not sure about the Marginy area specifically though.

For early shows you want to go to the clubs on Frenchmen Street between Royal and Esplanade...music starts early at both the Spotted Cat and DBA. Last night the Spotted Cat was wailing at 7:00. DBA%26#39;s early shows start at 6:30 or 7:00.

Tropical Isle/Funky Pirate also has early shows. There%26#39;s a schedule on their website.

We currently have a room at Le Rich, but my SO desperately whats to rent a home at Bourbon %26amp; Conti. I just KNOW that if we eat %26amp; drink like wacktards (and, of course, we WILL eat and drink the wacktards) from the moment we get off the plane, once he parks his butt on a balcony with some beer, the rest is history.

So, we can ONLY do Bourbon %26amp; Conti *if* I can get a firm promise that I%26#39;ll have my live music fix, too. (Hence, early music may be middle grounds.)

Porelly- SSsssssh, I%26#39;m sneaking up on the owner of TI. She%26#39;s a part of ';Mermaids in the Night'; a group of my girlfriends and girlfriends of girlfriends. She doesn%26#39;t know I%26#39;m coming down. :D
