We will have to bring 2 vehicles when we come to NO. Some of the hotels I have looked at have a one car limit or are so expensive. Are there any other SAFE parking options?
Parking question
Yes, there is a parking deck on Iberville and Basin that is more reasonable and one on Chartres and Elysian Fields behind the small fire station(just a block or two out of the Quarter in Marigny). Both of these decks used to be $8 a day, not sure right now.
Another option would be to stay at one of the hotels that has free parking. They are few and far between, but you might try The Provincial on Chartres. If they will just take one car, put the other one in the Elysian Fields lot.
DO NOT park on the street over two hours without a residential pass or you will get a BIG ticket and maybe towed.

You can use Harrah%26#39;s parking garage if you play at least 30 minutes in the casino. It%26#39;s covered and pretty secure. Otherwise, try leaving the car at the airport long term parking.
Theres always the LeRichelieu for free parking and a second car could be at the Decatur/Esplanade secure lot if Le Richelieu couldn%26#39;t accomodate a second car. Depends on where you stay but there also is a garage at Iberville %26amp; Dauphine.
