Public Transportation question

I%26#39;m still looking at hotels for when my wife and I will be in NOLA for a convention. I%26#39;m now looking at the Inn on Bourbon st and wondering if there is convenient public transportation available from near there to the convention center. Thanks ahead of time for any responses!!!

A cab is your best bet. Pretty inexpensive.

Public Transportation question

Large conventions usually run free buses from the Quarter to the Convention Center...also, it can be a nice walk if the weather is good. A cab from Inn on Bourbon to the Convention Center is usually $5-7.

You could potentially take the Riverfront streetcar to the Convention Center area, but you%26#39;d still have to walk a few blocks from the hotel to the streetcar line. A cab really is the best way to go.

Unless you are lugging a bunch of convention materials with you, just walk. It%26#39;s a nice walk, not too far, maybe 15 - 20 minutes or so.
