Hi, we%26#39;re attending the Saints/Pats game on Nov 30th. It%26#39;s a night game starting at 8:30. What is the easiest/safest way to get back to the Monteleone after the game?
Thanks!
Superdome to French Quarter
Walk. If the weather is uncooperative, cabs are located next to the stadium.

If you%26#39;re a Pats fan then the best way to get back to your hotel is to take a cab to the airport, fly to Miami, then hop on a flight to Baton Rouge, rent a car from Avis and drive back into town. If you%26#39;re a saints fan then the walk is pretty easy back to the hotel. It%26#39;s not a huge trek.
Too Funny Paulhunter,,,,I am planning on going to the Saints/Cowboys game just before Christmas this year. I am taking my wife and daughter, so even though I am a Cowboys season ticket holder, I have a Saints jacket I bought for $5 when a local sporting goods store went out of business a few years ago, so to prevent my family from getting beer poured all over us, I%26#39;ll be wearing that to cover my Witten jersey!lol
Walking should be fine as there should be plenty of others walking as well. Just stay on the more heavily traveled roads.
Have fun and enjoy the city, as well as the game as long as you ARE rooting for the home team!
We plan our vacations around the Pats games. We%26#39;ve been to Miami many times, staying in South Beach. Last year we went to the 49ers game and spent the week visiting San Francisco, Santa Cruz and Sonoma. Wonderful trip, we loved it!!!!! I hope we can say the same for New Orleans!
We went to the Ravens /Saints game a couple years ago and fell in love with the city - The fans were great and gracious! There was a bar in the FQ ( I think it was the Opera House) that was the Ravens ';HQ'; and had a shuttle to and from the game. Don%26#39;t now if they still do that but it was a great deal. Party there before the game and the shuttle.
The walk from the Superdome to the Montelone is a long one. At that time of night I would probably take a cab
