Can anyone give me info on the Tiger Bar?
Tiger Bar????We haven%26#39;t been to the Tiger Bar, but we%26#39;ve been in a couple of other bars in Tigerland, listening to bands that we like. The following review is spot on.
Of course, if you%26#39;re college-age, you%26#39;ll probably love the place. When we were there, we saw lots of people ages 18-20.
Tigerland - This includes Reggie%26#39;s, The Tiger, Dublin%26#39;s, Fred%26#39;s
Location: Near LSU across the railroad tracks on highland road.
About: This is where you go if you%26#39;re a broke college bum. I don%26#39;t mind some of these places though they are a bit dirty and you don%26#39;t really feel comfortable in the college crowd if you%26#39;re me. Crowd is of course college aged so thats what they cater to. Music is your typical booty shaking and rap music combined with country and other dance songs.(no real theme) An occasional bad band. Often Greek events will rent these places having private parties which you can%26#39;t get into unless you%26#39;re in a sorority/fraternity. Definitely all for young people. What do you expect from a bunch of people catering to drunk mostly underaged college kids? Not much. Leave the kiddie pool to the kiddies
Tiger Bar????Definetly a college bar. Is that what you%26#39;re looking for? If not, try some of the downtown bars -- Roux House, Boudreauxs %26amp; Thibedeauxs, etc.
